a romantic drama by woody allen:
match point. quite enjoyable, supported by strong characters played by the actors, however i would not score it as one of the first-rate movies. at the beginning the story draws rather slowly although it's building up neatly to the climax and finalised by a good ending. but well, it's basically a story about... a love affair. and talking about an affair, it just reminds me of unfaithfull back in the year 2002, which i personally think more remarkable than this movie. ***
through a reference by a colleague, i finally know the artist whose beautiful work decorates my computer screen! such brilliant artworks by james wignall, an english graphic/motion designer! started with drawing silly little cartoons while he was a kid, james fell into design and has worked with some high profile clients. he said he always had a different way of looking at things since he was a young child.

tracy robinson is fast making a name for herself as one hot pen, paint and paper wielder. designing by day and illustrating by night, she explores the juxtaposition of art and design in projects that have included film, television, music, fashion and the web. while tracy is based in LA, her work has been featured around the world in group and solo art shows and has contributed to publications and websites such as atomica, neomu, katalogue, curvy, flavorpill, beautiful decay, the royal magazine and female persuasion. (as reported by michelle read for attitude magazine no.50 autumn 2006)
title: life of pi author: yann martel
an adventure about a 16-year-old boy who remained after the tragic sinking of a cargo ship, together with a hyena, a zebra, an orang-utan and a Royal Bengal tiger. i personally think the book was a bit too long. however with its philosophical message, this is a book that makes you think. the story has an open-minded approach about survival and faith.
another movie night, we went to see aeon flux, a futuristic science fiction. i'm not really a big fan of science fiction, yet this movie has incredible settings and cinematography. but guess what, i fell asleep for few minutes in the middle of the movie! i believe it was not a boring movie at all, it was just because of the couple glasses of wine i had after work and i was just really really tired, it's been such a long week for me. ***
this week featuring one red square, a friend's online portfolio! *jgn kira promosinya gratis lho cel! hehehe...*
a history of violence is an action-thriller movie. it is full of blood, strong violence and sex scenes. i personally think the story is a bit strange and i wasn't really satisfied with the ending. yet the 95-minute movie is still quite entertaining to watch. ***
look what i found on the city weekly article! why not go a little bolder and introduce patterns while serving your food? this is a range of fun and fabulous products designed by jackie shapiro for french bull. visit your distributor in australia: until. enjoy your meal!
i'm loving the new tv commercial of nokia l'amour collection! very well designed, stylish and fashionable. i love the music as well, does anybody know what song is it? the ad has been on tv for a while but i just found that i can upload it from google video. sweet!!!
