this novel brings you back to the 15th century, a story about rodrigo borgia, who became pope alexander vi, and his family. they are considered as the greatest crime in the history. it is about greed and corruption, the pope's ambition to do anything for power and luxury to "protect the family". brutal and cruel, the story contains murders, betrayal, incest and adultary. i was just so fascinated. a good reading indeed.
