finally we've watched da vinci code last friday. after reading the book a while ago, i was so curious to see the movie. no surprise though that the movie wasn't as good as the novel, in fact i found it a bit disappointing. it was so packed at the beginning while the ending went quite slow. there were great actors playing but seems like there were no strong characters shown in the movie. moreover, i bet this movie would be very confusing for those who haven't read the book yet.**

agree!! the acting quality of the actors r not exploited, mostly they were just running around... sigh.. however, silas and teabing r still mempesona.
ahh agree with you.... the movie was just so-so... nothing really special about it :( mengecewakan memang apalagi kalo abis baca bukunya...rasanya itu film kok rada slow and there's no pause whatsoever from start till ending. Tom hanks isn't as good as he's supposed to be.. but yg mainin sir leigh (ian mckellen) is pretty good :) dan yg mengecewakan lagi ... no chemistry between the main actor and actress :p
we watched it last saturday. I didn't read the book, but my husband did. He said the book was so much better than the film. Luckily for me, my husband told me briefly about the story after he finished reading the book sometime last year, so it wasn't too confusing for me to follow the film.
