wall-e

i just saw the best animated movie ever! the super cute characters, awesome animation and settings, the beautiful story and message, great music; wall-e totally blew me away. on a side note, i have now received my new bank cards. it's just a matter of time that the banks will (hopefully) refund my stolen money after investigation (which could take a while). thank you all so much for your kind words on my previous post - i know i whinge all the time and at times posted about something pointless, but thanks for reading through anyway. you are all so sweet <3

:(

it was a long story how it happened, but one thing that upsets me the last few weeks was i got my credit cards stolen. twice. (that's right. twice.) and whoever stole them, they used more than $3000 in total... *sigh* thing is, i'm leaving the country in 2 weeks for my holiday. i just want to get everything sorted before i leave... had lots of tea and cookies, they are always comforting, it helps me to calm down. oh... and blogging too, trying to take my mind away from it by browsing beautiful things online.

less is more - i always love something simple like these ceramics...

...designed by daniel jo. love his work a lot!!

the sinking boat and plane bowls collection by studio bo is pretty cute too.

jewellery lines by nervous system...

... their design is so different and delicate, they take my breath away!

young blood designers market #1

too many things happening that i'm so glad this week is over. ahhh... i love weekend! it's a sunny saturday and we went to the young blood designers market (i went there too 2 years ago). so there were a bunch of boys and girls drawing and painting on recycled boards using different kinds of media. now the brilliant thing is, you can take home whichever artworks you like and they accept donation where you can contribute however much you'd like. how good is that! below are some snapshots...

i really like all the stencil artworks!

some other great paintings, heaps of them.

some of the artists.. they all have different and interesting styles.

these are the 2 artworks that i finally decided to take home. will share more about the market tomorrow! and for those of you who are in sydney, tomorrow is the last day of the venue, so make sure you stop by!

anna wolf

gorgeous photos by anna wolf for my sunday post. i am smitten. are you?

i can't wait to pack up my bag next month for my holiday. haven't decided yet though which south east asian country we will go.

just on a side note, i found a very beautiful quote when i watched kung fu panda last week. "yesterday is history. tomorrow is mystery. but today is a gift. that's why it's called present." enjoy your sunday!
